Jose Mendoza-Saud Registered Massage Therapist
Jose graduated in 2018 with an Advanced Diploma in Massage Therapy from Algonquin College. Often described as friendly, outgoing, and compassionate by those around him, these traits help Jose to better relate to others and to better understand his patients. Jose's interest with injuries and helping those in pain stems from his many years of playing both competitive and recreational sports, such as soccer, and volleyball, as he wanted to help those injured while playing sports. After completing a placement at Carleton University where he worked closely with their athletes on treating various injuries, he worked at the Ottawa Rehab Inpatient Services, and Jack Purcell Community Centre and Pool. Jose not only gained an appreciation for various work environments through these opportunities but also for patients and their various circumstances and injuries. Not only did these opportunities help Jose to better understand the role of a massage therapist, but it also increased his appreciation and compassion for those in need. Whether an injury is small, sports-related, or one that is more serious and complex as a result of ongoing health conditions, Jose is interested in treating all injuries while improving his skills. Jose is excited to start working as a Registered Massage Therapist and is eager to start applying his knowledge in the field in order to effectively help those in need.
