Jhoanne Ramos

Jhoanne Ramos
Registered Physiotherapist

Jhoanne has been in the health care industry for over 15 years. She completed her degree in Physiotherapy under the tutelage of a renowned Orthopaedic Surgeon with his wife, who is also a Physiotherapist specializing in neuro-rehab and scoliosis. The learning and training from the institution have greatly enhanced her knowledge-base, talents and skills, and certainly fortified her passion for the profession. To help her enhance her skillset, she has kept up with the current evidence-based practices, technological advances thanks to Physiocare (such as ONDAMED, Shockwave, DOT) and new techniques (such as acupuncture, dry-needling, cupping and Kinesio-taping). She is a firm believer in continuing education and that it is never too late to learn something new.

She specializes in therapeutic and corrective exercises and trusts that it is one of the most important factors in an individual's rehabilitation process. She is qualified to treat a multitude of conditions such as musculoskeletal injuries, cardiovascular, pelvic health, concussion, vestibular, TMJ conditions, MS, Stroke, Parkinson's disease, Cerebral palsy, burn, and currently pursuing further certifications and specializations in these areas.

She has experience treating pediatric and geriatric populations, and people from diverse cultures and backgrounds. This has taught her a great deal about valuing life, how we spend it, and that every person is different. Getting to know a person as a whole and learning more about the condition has enabled her to provide an individualized plan of care.

Jhoanne loves the great outdoors, which is one of the reasons why she chose to move to Canada, and has fallen in love with the country and the people. She would often go camping, hiking, biking, canoeing, working out, going on trips, visiting beautiful landmarks, as well as the more laid-back activities such as enjoying a good book, trying out a new dish, watching movies, crafting, decorating for parties and her stress-reliever, organizing items in the order.

The patients she sees are her inspiration to become a better and more effective Physiotherapist, and she aims to put the care back into healthcare.
