Nafis Khan

Nafis Khan
Registered Physiotherapist

Nafis completed his Bachelor of Science in Physiotherapy from University of Dhaka, Bangladesh in 2014. After graduation he joined the public sector and served as a Clinical Physiotherapist in Disability Service and Support Centre for almost 2 years. In order to achieve broader understanding of how health service works, he pursued his post-graduation in Public Health from Liverpool John Moores University, UK.

During his practice as a clinical physiotherapist he has worked with children suffering from cerebral palsy, Down’s syndrome, muscular dystrophy, autism, hemophilia, club foot and so on. For a brief period, he also served in the hospital setting where he managed musculoskeletal and neurological cases. He loves travelling and photography. His favorite sport is Cricket.

Urvi Patel

Urvi Patel completed her bachelor’s degree in Physiotherapy (2019) from India; followed by 6 month of internship. She worked for BAPS Hospital, in India. In addition, she immigrated to Canada for her further studies and pursued the diploma program in Fitness and Health Promotion (2022); followed by an internship and she joined Physiocare in April 2022 as a Physiotherapy Assistant (PTA).

“Health is our most prominent asset and not one to be taken for granted,” Urvi believes. She enjoys helping people from all ages suffering from injury, illness or disability. She believes, if she can affect an individual’s overall well-being , happiness and ability to live their life to the fullest then she is completely satisfied with her choice of profession.

Furthermore, in her spare time she is fond of sketching and enjoy various forms of dance.

She looks forward to apply her health care experience in working with you to help you achieve your personal goals of health and wellness.

Adam is a dedicated and ambitious student currently pursuing his undergraduate degree in health sciences with a minor in economics at uOttawa, with his sights set on a master's degree in physiotherapy. His dedication to a well-rounded education and his aspiration for a master's degree in physiotherapy highlight his determination to making a meaningful impact in the field of healthcare. With his academic background and future goals, Adam is well-positioned to contribute to the physiotherapy industry,

He is a trilingual physiotherapist assistant, fluent in French, English, and Arabic, who possesses a deep sense of empathy and interpersonal skills. His dedication to helping patients on their journey to recovery and improved well-being is underscored by his ability to connect with individuals on a personal level.

Adam's passion for soccer is evident as he competes year-round, displaying skill and dedication on and off the pitch. Complementing his devotion to sport, he maintains a disciplined gym routine for health and athletic performance. Beyond sports, he enjoys quality time with his family and spending time in nature.
